Vollenhoven is a Tilburg family business founded almost 130 years ago by Jacques van Vollenhoven. Since its foundation, they have been inextricably linked to oil products. Over the years, Vollenhoven has developed into one of the largest independent and autonomous oil wholesalers in the Netherlands.

In 2006, Vollenhoven became a member of the Dutch AVIA cooperative and since then they have rebranded more and more service stations in the red and white AVIA colors. Vollenhoven operates both AVIA (manned), AVIA XPress (unmanned) and AVIA Truck (transport) filling stations.

In order to monitor the volumes of the fuel tanks at the filling stations transparently and to supply them optimally, Vollenhoven, together with Blue1, has implemented the Spottbox telemetry system at its filling stations. In this way, there is a clear picture of the volumes in the tanks so that they can be optimally filled if necessary.

In de loop der jaren heeft Vollenhoven zich ontwikkeld tot één van de grootste zelfstandige en onafhankelijke oliegroothandelaren in Nederland.

In 2006 is Vollenhoven lid geworden van de Nederlandse AVIA coöperatie en hebben ze sindsdien steeds meer tankstations ondergebracht in de rood-witte AVIA kleuren. Vollenhoven beheert zowel AVIA (bemand), AVIA XPress (onbemand) als AVIA Truck (transport) tankstations.

Om de volumes van de opslagtanks op de tankstations transparant te kunnen opvolgen en optimaal te beleveren heeft Vollenhoven samen met Blue1 het Spottbox telemetrie systeem geïmplementeerd op haar tankstations. Op die manier is er een duidelijk beeld van de volumes in de tanks waardoor ze optimaal kunnen gevuld worden indien nodig.
